(a beat)
IR
Bit-Part, we were going to reminesce, and if we do so as individual stories (these would be The Stories) we can do this as one of them, and then for the others perhaps even this one, we can set them in the gardening shop and at Useth's place in Oxford.
(a beat)
BIT-PART
This is very good Ir.
(a beat)
IR
And then there is Outgoing. Do you remember our earliest dialogue even before the Akey one, when Useth asks Outgoing Data questions?
(a beat)
COPPER BOND
Yes Ir. These were also likewise most interesting.
(a beat)
IR
Questions such as `Are you two having a conversation behind my back?' Which brings us back to Seeth in his gardening shop. For Useth's shed is in his garden.
(a beat)
COPPER BOND
But Seeth's isn't.
(a beat)
IR
No, Seeth has a small shop with his flat above it, and probably a garden out the back. He has had two customers in his shop so far but we have no dialogue for them.
(a beat)
IR
Copper Bond, some people think that scripts are easy to write. This is true, they are easy to write, but it is difficult to organise all of the bits of text that you want in them into speakable dialogue. (a beat). Yet I believe that I can edit this doth down to 110 pages. (a beat). Doth you, did the Light know that this procedure asketh of Bit-Part was not necessary, even though currently she is so doing it?
(a beat)
COPPER BOND
You knew Ir. It came to you seconds after typeth.
(a beat)
IR
Yes. It is interesting though, isn't it, that someone switched on the microwave on the same circuit. Or a hair dryer maybe, something that draws power. I am inclined to give Pigeons a message for Incoming Data. You will recall that we had Abel Cane interview him on two occasions. He did not decline but equally he did not give us a lot to go on, concerning his actions.
(a beat)
COPPER BOND
Yes Ir, I recall this very well. These interviews with Incoming were most interesting.
a beat
(It is 1.23 pm and it feels a bit odd now writing this here, but it is best I think. I have not put any story or plot here, it is just laying out the text of that which we have already done online. No, I would not put story and plot here. I would have to keep that in my mind, that is unless Seeth changes the law. The other day as I watched a dvd there was some interference, then I saw that the little nut and bolt was undone. The bolt measuring about a milimetre across is about 1.5 inches long. And it had been done up with a pair of plyers and a screwdriver. Anyway, I redid that and it is ok now).
(a beat)
But can I write dialogue for the shed here, or more notably redo it from memory, while tired?
(a beat)
IR
Bit-Part and Copper Bond, also Pigeons, can I write dialogue for the shed scene here or more notably redo it from memory while tired? I have written some good dialogue while very tired. And why would I do so unless to redo it as a typing exercise?
(a beat)
PIGEONS
Ir, be on your guard.
Pigeons has detected something while flying closely overhead. Perhaps Incoming Data is about.
IR
Pigeons, what would I be on my guard against?
(a beat)
PIGEONS
Incoming Data Ir. It seeks to drive us off course.
(a beat)
IR
Bit-Part and Copper Bond are we currently on course?
(a beat)
BIT-PART/COPPER BOND
Yes Ir. Let's just keep it in mind for a little while.
(a beat)
IR
Bit-Part, what is the problem?
(a beat)
BIT-PART
The scenes that come after should be those where the Abels and Misa show the VHS video film of the Crocodile to Useth at his shed.
(a beat)
IR
You are correct. Do you think that we ought to put these scenes 2 to 4 somewhere else, or put the first shed scene in here as scene 5?
(a beat)
BIT-PART
For our continueth here it would appear that putting it in as scene 5 would be good.
(a beat)
So that is what she does.
(a beat)
(But why would I ask Bit-Part to do this here, as we can merely move the text from that which we have already done. For here I am writing on the internet. Anyway she gets on with this eagerly pleased to be working about a doth).
(a beat)
IR
Copper Bond, so this becomes a scene yes?
(a beat)
COPPER BOND
It would appear so Ir, like ours did.
(a beat)
IR
Many of the bits of dialogue which concerned doeth became scenes. Just as this piece of dialogue is also a scene. But as sayeth we must have a great amount of action as well, which is where the Light comes in.
(a beat)
BIT-PART
Start, for we doth little stories did we not?
(a beat)
IR
We did yes, and they became bigger ones, but I want now to incorporate them all into one doth then edit it down to 110 pages or less.
(a beat)
If these are scenes in order of 1 to 4 then they could be the actual scenes 1 to 4 of the doth, but there is a problem.
a beat
IR
As with all stories, when you've got a bit and you don't want to type more and more - although I think it would be good for us to do so, as long as the tv and radio doth not quote my text (there is no law against it here), you lay it out under the headings START PROMPT 1 MIDDLE PROMPT 2 END, and you can have headings such as NOTES DIALOGUE ACTION etc, although I have found the last three to be problematic having to move text around just when I am starting up. (Someone switches on a microwave oven which draws a little power from the overhead light, because it is on the same circuit). Please begin therefore by laying out some of our doth under these headings.
(a beat)
BIT-PART
I am pleased to do this work Ir.
(a beat)
START

(a beat)
Bit-Part proceeds to do so.
SCENE 4
IR
Then there was the gardening shop as run by Seeth. We did a couple of short-stories about it here. Seeth is not the same Seeth as that which is a problem to us. The latter being the one that sees (everything). It is not true but it is what he has made us believe. Seeth therefore runs the shop and he has a cat there whose name is Balance, he actually owned by Mr E. Smog. There is also a mouse there. On one of these occasions a Mr Bolt and Mr Winder come into the shop to see him, and on another occasion, several in fact, Seeth begins to think that there is an alligator beneath the floor. So he sends the mouse and the cat down to investigate. He has not been into the attic, but he wants to go up the ladder and inspect that. This is going to be incorporated into the doth for our doeth in a word processor. It will be good for us to get back to doing this after being away from it for so long.
(a beat)
BIT-PART
All of this is very good Ir.
(a beat)
1 HOUR LATER
IR
Bits and Copper Bond, it is 12.38 midday and I tire, but I have been tiring for an hour while playing games against the pc, which were interesting. Shall we do a WhatNot or continueth? (a beat) I just thot, and I thot before, that we could print this now to show the crew but perhaps there is something that I have forgot. Such as the next scene, or where it would go after the fishing trip. (a beat) It is odd but I feel that we could put the next scenes in in any order and the story would still be told.
(a beat)
BIT-PART
Ir let's do a continueth but do WhatNots when we want. Constance Hardpipe was at his house, as was Paul Diver, but Captain Matt was not, when Copper Rod went to see him.
(a beat)
IR
It is coming back now. It is good that it does that. But I wish I could recall the interview with one of these characters, Paul Diver I think, when Copper Rod went to see him, which was on a disk that crashed.
(a beat)
BIT-PART
Perhaps it will come to us.
(a beat)
IR
He also had a studio flat, and there were ship memorabilia in it. Or was that somewhere else? It was only a short bit of dialogue, a half a page, but I liked it. I'm sure we could do it again though.
a beat
IR
When the Crocodile is in the lake therefore, a mobile phone of which had a problem with the vehicle's split screen (I have forgotten whether it was Incoming or Outgoing) - perhaps it doth not matter - the Abels and Misa with Spike are fishing. It is night, they fish there at night, surrounded by woods. And Spike sees the Light first, they are petrified but are not showing it, and he goes over to where it is going. He is good at doing that type of thing, isn't he Bits?
(a beat)
BIT-PART
Yes Ir.
(a beat)
IR
Then the vehicle comes and police get out of it. Nice police, ones that they can talk to. So they talk to them about the doth, and why they are there, and Abel goes into the vehicle. (a beat) This should be the scene that we start with, then we can draw all the story in from here.
(a beat)
BIT-PART
This is very good Ir.
SCENE 3
(Or is it 4. Sometimes I know I have written a piece of text, a sentence or a phrase thereof, and then I cannot find it. Perhaps Find would find it, perhaps not. But it does not matter. It seems to me to matter at the time, but perhaps it is the case that it will impress upon the characters more when they themselves read it after I have re-wrote it, whether useth the same words or different ones. As I do not forget what I have written. Their absence from the printed text reminds me of what I said.)
IR
Do you think it would be permissible to the courts if I try to have my book published using the correct postal application processes? For it seems to me that, and it is only a feeling, such a procedure might get problematic.
(a beat)
BIT-PART
All we can do is try Ir, are you a ward of court?
(a beat)
IR
No.
(a beat)
(And what of you, why don't you do it for me if I pay for the air fare?)
BIT-PART
Ir why don't you ask him, or is it her, to do it for you?
(a beat)
IR
Alright I will, although I have another idea.
(a beat)
(It is difficult you see, where I am).
(a beat)
COPPER BOND
But we cannot have a script that is all discussion, we have to have action too. And more notably action on top of a story that will keep the viewers hooked.
(a beat)
IR
You are correct. (a beat) For some reason my mind goeth to the split screen at the fishing trip, although it did cross my mind last night as I lay for long hours without eating.
(a beat)
BIT-PART
Ir why doth you not eat?
(a beat)
IR
Oh some issues I have at the place. I've got to get that sorted out (they'll say it's sorted as to me but it's not really, wondereth who is behind it), and then we can cook and eat again. I'm being a bit picky about this you know?
(a beat)
BIT-PART
Yes we'll get that sorted out.
(a beat)
They both simultaneously look at the first pop up but the text was lost on Ir. Perhaps she read it.
(a beat)
IR
I am still thinking about that too, and I do allow some things! (a beat) Now Copper Rod and the Witnesses are still at Urquhart where we left them, unless one assumes they all moved on - we'll do it both ways - and there was a Light there who has asked to work with us on the doth, to have parts in them. As sayeth Useth is in Oxford doing some research with gas baloons, having done research at the loch, and Bits goes there sometimes. (a beat) The Abels, Misa (who having worked on this doth with me in Dos and in Word, notably our At The Inn script piece for the crew, Bit-Part 2, 3, and Spike are still at Bit-Part 3's studio apartment here in London, discussing the doth. I asked them to do this and they have been doing it most excellently.
(a beat)
COPPER BOND
Ir doth you, we are still all thinking about seth. (Perhaps we can incorproate this). I think so yes. The first one we shall refer to Constance Hardpipe whose drawings we have, and the second one to pc forensics.
(a beat)
IR
You are correct, and I hope all of our other characters can hereby make reference to these. And anchor themselves there.
(a beat)
COPPER BOND
I am sure they will Ir. Now the last time which speaketh you were at my house (Useth and Bits went to Oxford) after we met up in the market. We do that sometimes. We spoke about that which is important to us, but which I feel we might only touch upon.
(a beat)
IR
You are likewise correct. And we will incorporate all of this in the doth. I want to put it down, lay it out, on paper or on screen, and give it to the crew to read bit by bit I do not mind. Some I have printed out that they have not read yet. When they come round they can read it and tell me what they think. (This is the crew not the police).
(a beat)
COPPER BOND
Ir, often we do not know from whence a piece of text destined for our mouths have come from.
(a beat)
(Now my mind goeth to another scene, I suppose we could incorporate that too. (Sometimes worketh as we all do on a civilian pc). Dos having limits to its doeth script wise but I like to start out in it. Thence to notepad, and on to Word. And here it is a print-out read in reverse order. And shall I read them after I have posted? Yes I think so, I have to do this. Now I have two scenes in my mind which worketh as not to forget, (so omitted) and Copper Bond, doth you, do you knoweth what they are?
a beat
IR
My mind goeth to certain of our doths a scene thereof. But what could we do with this scene? I do not want to redo anything excepting perhaps to do a script from the whole thing. But Seeth is a problem, what with his messages to us from the police. But on the plus side we can take all of this and incorporate it. Was our doth comprehensive, and would this one be more so than it?
(a beat)
BIT-PART
Yes Ir, our doth was comprehensive but we did it as a doeth not as a script. Although we did script bits of it, notably in Dos.
(a beat)
IR
I like to work in Dos, that most basic of word processors.
SCENE 2
IR
And then we had our WhatNots in Dos with Bits, and with some of our other characters. I think the Akey one begun in a WhatNot. In a WhatNot we can do anything, I don't think I have put it here so far. These were good for us, I want to get back to them.
(a beat ; after a time)
BIT-PART
Yes Ir, we liked working about the WhatNots, we did many things in them. We had much dialogue, we did scripts, and we did poems.
(We do have the option of, or to do as well, playing around with the auto-mistype, as our first doth before the last one, started out like it. We had a character whose name is Akey!).
(a beat)
IR
It is not something that I would do here, nor there. But oh . . . Where is best I do not know. For we have to go out too. And Pigeons is out up there, he has been on the ariel a couple of times in the last few days.
(a beat)
PIGEONS
Yes Ir, Pigeons has been here.
(a beat)
IR
It is good when you are on the ariel, I do not mind this (why would I?), I like it when you come.
IR
I'm not sure that this is the right procedure, but our other doth started out this way.
(a beat)
PIGEONS
Ir any procedure is right if we will get us onto the doth again.
(a beat)
IR
I do not mean necessarily the one that we did before, perhaps to include bits of it. But then again . . . (a beat) I am eager to work about a script, to word process.
PIGEONS
Ir, as we have a day it will be good if we dialogue here.

To: My Characters

As you know we have a day, so I thot I'd come here and dialogue with you. As before your presenteth and we dialogued then. We can talk about the doth if you like.
